The Mommy Tree

Do you find yourself making up words for things that are mommy related and can't find it in our normal language? I do this all the time to the hysterics of my family. I usually make mine up on the fly when I am trying to say too many things at once!

Mine are:

Mom-inator: When mommy needs a little break and is about to go berserk.

Diaper-wala: Child who is still in diapers. The term wala comes from the Indian word meaning person.

Missle Tati (poop): When our first son sent a missile poop right out when my husband took off his diaper and was wiping his bottom. It tore across the air about 10 feet, onto our wall and door and all over the carpet! All the while my husband screamed out in horror at 2 am and I launched out of bed to witness this hysterical event. Now we warn new parents of this potential nightmare event that can happen to a new parent.

Noogers Night boogers. My son noticed a larger deposit of boogers at night and started calling them noogers.

Commerciables My younger son came up with this one for television commercials.

ding dong What we say to each other when we are doing silly things.

Thanks! There are so many different words parents make up when raising kids. I love Dopey Dance! I thought she was going to embarrass her child by dancing in public! :)

That is so cute!

My friend use to tell her daughter when she was about 2-3 that she would give her a Dopey Dance if she misbehaved. Her daughter would straighten rite up and nobody every new exactly what she was talking about. It was just a unique and funny way of saying I am going to spank you.
